Develop ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistant Systems) that incorporate driver/rider state, situational/environmental context and adaptive HMI (Human Machine Interaction) to automatically hand over different levels of automation and thus ensure safer and more efficient road usage for all vehicle types (conventional and electric car, truck, bus, motorcycle).
IDIADA’s role
IDIADA is the leader of the evaluation work package. Within it, IDIADA coordinates the data collection plan and testing, as well as the final evaluations at its proving grounds and on surrounding public roads. It also contributes to the definition of the evaluation framework and leads two tasks of integration and impact assessment on safety and mobility.
