The main objective of the GREENTRONICS project is to create a powerful Catalan industry for the manufacture of electronic components for sustainable mobility.
GREENTRONICS represents a strategic opportunity to incorporate new lines of business in companies, through the development of new products in sustainable market mobility. In addition to the knowledge acquired, they can be incorporated into other industrial sectors such as renewable energies and which are related: strategic applications and micro-grids, autonomous systems, auxiliary systems for Smart Grids
These products contribute to reduce the current dependence on fossil fuels and face the challenge of finding alternative energy sources that meet the growing energy demand.
In terms of automotive products, the automobile industry in Catalonia is one of the key bridges of the country's economy. At present there are two vehicle manufacturing plants with their respective technical centers, as well as a large fleet of manufacturers of auxiliary components installed throughout the country that not only nourish the aforementioned plants from components.
The expected results are:
1) Development of Components and Services for electric and hybrid vehicles with high voltage batteries 2) Development of Components and Services for 48V automotive systems 3) Development of Components for alternative systems for sustainable mobility.
