Save the date for VI-grade’s first-ever ZERO PROTOTYPES Summit dedicated to the Chinese automotive industry, to be held on 18th October at Applus+ IDIADA’s Driving Simulator Lab in Yantai.
VI-grade, the global provider of human-centric simulation-driven vehicle development solutions, today announced the first-ever ZERO PROTOTYPES Summit dedicated to executive-level engineering managers and experienced design engineers in the Chinese automotive industry. In collaboration with its long-standing partner, Applus+ IDIADA, the 1-day event will take place on 18th October in the new Driving Simulator Lab in Zhaoyuan (Yantai, China). The summit will feature a combination of keynote and technical presentations from renowned Chinese OEMs and suppliers, as well as numerous demo sessions and networking opportunities. Attendees will gain exclusive insights into how key players in the Chinese automotive industry are using VI-grade's simulation tools, driving simulators and hardware-in-the-loop technologies to accelerate new vehicle development while mastering the Zero Prototypes Challenge.
Held in the local language, the PRC ZERO PROTOTYPES Summit offers a highly curated selection of keynote and technical presentations from industry leaders such as NIO, CICV, Changan, CHERY and IDIADA itself.
In addition to a high-caliber lineup of speakers, attendees can also sign up for exclusive driving simulator sessions on the DYNAMIC DiM250 installed at Applus+ IDIADA’s Driving Simulator Lab, to experience first-hand the added value of VI-grade’s simulation tools in the development process.
On top of that, participants will also have the unique opportunity to take part in guided tours of the prestigious IDIADA China proving ground complex, which is managed by Applus+ IDIADA and owned by LingLong Tires. Covering an area of 150 hectares, the proving ground boasts 18 first-class test tracks and 36 fully equipped confidential workshops, making it one of the most comprehensive and independent proving grounds in China.
The PRC ZERO PROTOTYPES Summit will foster unparalleled networking opportunities, bringing together the who's who of the Chinese automotive industry, from senior engineering managers to experienced design engineers from leading automotive manufacturers, suppliers, and research institutes. With numerous tea breaks and an informal evening event, attendees will have the opportunity to discuss the latest trends in driving simulation in a relaxed atmosphere, exchange ideas with their peers and create long-term connections.
“We are thrilled to bring our ZERO PROTOTYPES Summit to China for the first time”, commented Guido Bairati, Managing Director at VI-grade. “This is a great opportunity for us to demonstrate not only our Zero Prototypes vision and our tools to the Chinese automotive community, but also to gain insights into the remarkable projects and advancements our customers have accomplished using our simulation solutions.”
“Enabling the availability of driver-in-the-loop (DIL) technology in the Chinese market represents a significant achievement for IDIADA China” stated Alexandre Català, the Managing Director at IDIADA China. “Additionally, hosting the inaugural ZERO PROTOTYPES Summit in the country offers a unique opportunity to showcase and discuss the potential of this development technology with industry leaders. Attendees of the summit will have the chance to participate in an enriching event and explore the renowned proving ground in China, IDIADA China Proving Ground (ICPG), known for its exceptional facilities.”
