Applus+ IDIADA expands vehicle homologation capabilities with new designations for Taiwan

In this context, Applus+ IDIADA, a globally recognized Technical Service for vehicle homologation, has recently secured seven new designations from Taiwan. This extension of credentials enhances our capacity to support manufacturers in certifying their vehicles, including passenger cars, commercial vehicles, and motorcycles, as well as various systems and components, for export to the Taiwanese market.

The newly acquired designations cover a wide range of vehicle safety and performance aspects:

• VSTD certification 56-4: Electromagnetic Compatibility — (equivalent to UN ECE 10)
• VSTD certification 80-1: Quiet Road Transport Vehicles — (equivalent to UN ECE 138)
• VSTD certification 91: Light Signalling Devices (LSD) — (equivalent to UN ECE 148)
• VSTD certification 92: Road Illumination Devices (RID) — (equivalent to UN ECE 149)
• VSTD certification 93: Retro-reflective Devices (RRD) — (equivalent to UN ECE 150)
• VSTD certification 94: Blind Spot Information System (BSIS) — (equivalent to UN ECE 151)
• VSTD certification 95: Pedestrian Safety - Front Vehicle Structure — (equivalent to UN ECE 127.02)
