IDIADA China Proving Ground has fully certified test tracks built specifically for EU regulations, such as High Speed Track, External Noise Track and Straight Line Track. [DG1] It can be used for various testing and certification activities, covering all the testing needs of tyre manufactures and OEMS.
T1 Coast Down Report :The objective of this report is to gather the necessary documentation to inform that lane 1 and lane 2 in both straights of the high-speed track (HST) at IDIADA China Proving Ground fulfil the requirements for the performance of tests according to Commission Regulation (EU) 2017/1151 of 1 June 2017. Construction of the high speed track at IDIADA China Proving Ground finished on 2019.
T2 1994 Certificate: External Noise Test surfaces allow the performance of noise emissions tests for vehicles and their components. In order to minimize the variation of the noise emitted by vehicles performed indifferent places, the lSO 10844:1994 specifies the materials, the layout, the construction and the test surface properties, not only in its construction, also during its useful life.
ISO 10844:1994 surface (hereinafter “ISO 94") of IDIADA China Proving Ground and Sino Asia Tire Proving Ground was constructed in 2017 by CCCC construction company. The regular inspection regarding the measurement of the surface texture depth (MTD) had been performed by the Maintenance department of lDIADA China Proving Ground.
T2 2014 Certificate: The regulation lSO 10844:2014 sets the specific requirements of test tracks which are to be used for measuring noise emitted by road vehicles and their tyres. During many years those requirements were set by ISO 10844:1994 which was later on superseded by the already mentioned regulation. ln order to minimize the variation of the noise emitted by vehicles performed indifferent places, the lSO10844:2014 specifies the materials, the layout, the construction and the test surface properties, not only in its construction, also during its useful life.
T16 Straight Line Braking B Certificate: For the approval and labelling of tires, it is currently necessary to fulfil the technical requirements for the surfaces specified in the testing regulations and standards (UNECE Regulation No 117). In order to reduce the variability of the results obtained by the same tire in different test tracks, the characteristics of the test sites are defined in UNECE Regulation N° 117 (hereinafter referred as R117).
Two main types of testing surfaces are described in this regulation, being the following:
